Alex has been OU's Director of 国际教育 since April 2016. 在来密歇根之前, he worked for four years as 出国留学 Coordinator at the University of New 墨西哥 in Albuquerque and for one year as Project Manager at an Islamic interfaith organization in New York City. His international experience includes five years in South America, where he taught English in Argentina and 秘鲁 and had a fellowship from the Rotary Foundation to study microfinance and entrepreneurship in northern 秘鲁, and a year in the Middle East where he directed a study abroad program for American high school students to learn 阿拉伯语 in Amman, 约旦. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. 他会说西班牙语, 阿拉伯语, 法语和普通话水平下降, 还学习过德语和纳瓦霍语. He has studied abroad in 10 countries on five continents.

Cindy has been helping 十大菠菜台子 students realize their dreams to study abroad and study away since in 2011 through promotion, 建议, 和方向. Her current role as Assistant Director and 全国交换生 Coordinator in the 国际教育 Office was preceded by one year as OIE interim Director and three years as 出国留学 Coordinator. Cindy holds a Master of 工商管理 from 十大菠菜台子, Bachelor of Science in 工商管理 from Lawrence Technological University and Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in German from Ohio University. Two undergraduate study abroad programs include German language immersion in Salzburg, Austria and Western 欧洲an 业务 Study through seven countries. She studied German, French, and Russian languages to varying degrees. Nationally, Cindy has traveled to 47 of the 50 states and plans to notch the final three and U.S. 包括波多黎各和美国在内的领土.S. 维尔京群岛，在不久的将来.

Shirley started 在十大菠菜台子 in the Office of 国际教育 in March 2008. Her primary responsibility is to provide clerical support to the director and his staff. Shirley is also the first point of contact for students who are seeking to apply for study abroad or study away, 奖学金, 或与世界动物卫生组织工作人员预约. 另外, she provides support by answering questions and directing students to appropriate campus resources. Shirley comes to OU with more than 20 years of experience in the administrative field.

汉娜 has been working 在十大菠菜台子 since November 2020. 她是前台经理, and provides secretarial support for all three departments in the 全球参与办公室, as well as executive support for the Executive Director. 汉娜 holds a Bachelor of Arts from 十大菠菜台子 in History and speaks French and Haitian Creole. 汉娜 interned abroad in Haiti while studying at Oakland, and looks forward to conquering all 62 National Parks in the United States.

Juan Martin Davila Grijalva

Juan Martin is an international graduate student with a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism. He has camped in 10 of the 103 state parks in Michigan and is planning to camp in all of them. 毕业后, Juan will use his MSITM to promote tourism in Ecuador and to create new job opportunities for everyone, and will also promote Ecuador so that everyone can discover a whole new world.

亚历山德拉脱壳 is a dedicated senior 在十大菠菜台子 majoring in Communications with a minor in Advertising. As a student study abroad adviser at the OU 国际教育 Office, she is passionate about helping fellow students turn their dreams of exploring the world into reality.

从小就开始, 亚历山德拉迷上了旅行, 探索南美各国, 欧洲, 澳大利亚和新西兰. Her transformative semester abroad on the Gold Coast of Australia during her sophomore year was a pivotal moment in her college journey, affirming her belief in the power of global experiences.

Beyond her love for travel, Alexandra enjoys trying new things and embracing the unexpected. 她在高尔夫球场上找到快乐, appreciating both the challenge and the time spent with others, but her true passion lies in exploring new cultures and experiences.
